Bible Blog: 2-28-11

Esther 5:1-14: Today's passage is Esther 5:1-14. This passage talks about Esther risking her life. Esther went to the king. She was dresdsed in her fanciest robes. She told the king that she wanted hima nd Hamon to come to the banquet. The king again asked esther what she wanted at the banquet. She wanted them to have dinner again. Hamon went home boasting. I have not did anything that scary except coming over my shyness and sing in front of my church.

Make up Work

Monday: Today's passage is Nehemiah 8:1-18. This passage talks about reading God's Word.
People gathered at the square before the Water Gate. The Lord commanded for Israel to bring out the Book of Laws of Moses. The whole nation of Israel was at the assembly. The Water Gate assembly to see the Book of Laws of Moses.


When I open God's Word, I expect a move of God to flow in me.

Thurs. Ester 3:1-5 The Jews in Danger-Today's passage is Ester 3:1-5. This passage talks about the Jews being in danger and Hamen's plot to destroy the Jews. Hamen was outraged because Mordecai did not bow to him. He was also raged because he was a Jew.

Thurs. Nehemiah 2:1-20 Nehemiah Returns to Jerusalem- Today's Scripture is Nehemiah 2:1-20. This passage talks about Nehemiah returning to Jerusalem.
Nehemiah was sent to Jerusalem by Artaxerxes. Nehemiah was had sadness in his heart because the place where his ancestors and loved ones were buried was in ruins.
He went to Jerusalem and inspected the walls. He and the people rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem.

Wed. Ezra 3:7-13 Rebuilding the Temple- Today's Scripture is Ezra 3:7-13. This passage talks about rebuilding the temple of God. They gave money to the masons and carpenters.They also gave food, drink,and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so that they would have the strength to bring cedar logs by sea travel from Lebanon to Joppa,authorized by Cyrus, king of Persia.The priests and the Levites (Zerubbabel, Joshua, and the rest of the people) and all who had returned from the captivity to Jerusalem began the work.

When I am working on a large project, I sometimes feel overwhelmed.

Wed. 2 Kings 2: 1-12 Elijah’s Chariot- Today's Scripture is 2 Kings 1-12. nThis passage talks about Elijah's Chariot. When the Lord was about to take Elijah to heaven, he and Elisha were on the way to Gilgal. Elisha told him to stay were he was. He said he would never leave her. She said I know, so be quiet. So he disappered and never came back. God took him to heaven.

Bible Blog:2-8-11

Tues. 1 Kings 22: 29-40 The Death of King Ahab- Today's Scripture is 1 Kings 22:29-40. This passage talks about King Ahab's death. King Ahab was killed at Ramoth Gilead. Jehoshaphat said that he was going to enter the battle in disguise, but for Ahab to wear his royal robe. The king of Aram told his soldiers not to fight with anyone small or great, only the king of Israel. When they saw Jehoshaphat they thought that he had to be the king of Israel. They attacked him, but when he cried out they assumed he wasn't the king of Israel. So they s topped attacking him. The king of Israel got struck by a straw bow and was wounded. He told his commanders to pull him out of the fight. His blood ran on the floor of the chariot, and that night he died because of too much blood loss. His body was brought to Samaria, and they burned him.

I am never tempted that I can hide from God. When I was little I did, but now I kn ow that he sees and hears everything.

Mon. 1 Kings 21:1-29 The Stolen Vineyard- Today's Scripture is 1 Kings 21:1-29. This passage talks about The Stolen Vineyard. The vineyard that belonged to Naboth was in Jezreel. King Ahab asked Naboth to let him have his vineyard to use as a vegetable garden, since it was close to his palace. And in exchange he would pay or give him a better vineyard. But Ahad refused. He refused, because the Lord forbid him to guive away the vineyard that was left to him by his ancestors. Ahab went home angry. Ahad layed in his bed refusing to eat. His wife Jezebel came in and asked him why he wasn't eating properly. He told her. She told him too get up and eat. She said that she will get the vineyard. She wrote letters in Ahab's name to the elders and nobles in Naboth's city. They said that Naboth has been stoned to death.



Justice in my life can teach me what's right and what's wrong.

He asked her for water from the stream.And a piece of bread.
